For completists, there's some After Effects plug-in news.The Method Artist is quasi-officially announcing a set of After Effects plug-ins based on the procedural video effects in his blog.
Also, Paul Cady of The Verstehen Video Project has a filter for using Sony Vegas and finishing in AE. To help automate the process, he developed a plug-in that reads in a Vegas EDL file, de-interlaces the footage with the Deinterlace Blend technique, creates easy-to-adjust (color correction mostly) comps from the deinterlaced footage, & finally inserts the deinterlaced, color correction footage into the Vegas timeline.
