Growing 3D Vines in AE

In a fun development, Maltaannon riffs off of VideoCopilot's Growing 3D Vines (done in 3D Studio and AE, and itself a variation) just to show that it was possible to do some things in After Effects alone. He says, "The final result is not perfect, but since the tutorial already takes about 50 minutes I decided not to focus on the visual side so much, just the basic idea behind this technique."
